Okay, so there are about 10000000 things I should be doing right now, but there are just as many things I'd rather do. (;´ェ`)
Writing a con report, for instance.
As usual, Mega Manga Con is nothing special and it can be pretty boring, actually, if you don't hang out with the right people.
This year was mediocre at best, but a nice con to end this year's cosplay season and definitely stress-free (compared to this year's
Connichi.)
Friday Minako Aino (Sailor Moon) Minako finally had her debut on a con ♥ It was pretty late when I finally got to the con, so there's not much to write about. Spent most of the time doing a photo shoot with an adorable Yuna cosplayer. BTW, The local maid café tried to talk me into working for them (;´-`)
Saturday Suiseiseki (Rozen Maiden) On Saturday, my sister came with me and we wore our infamous Rozen Maiden costumes. I was really surprised how many people recognized us from Connichi. We got a lot of compliments on our skit for the WCS preliminaries (see last entry) ゚+。(〃ω〃)。+゚ It kind of raised my motivation for trying again next year... ↓ 1st picture:
Sunday Sheryl Nome (Macross Frontier) Yet another Sheryl. I'm sorry, but I just love her to pieces. Plus, her school uniform is just too cute ♥ This was the only new costume for this con and I really like how it came out. (The skirt needs some serious improvements, though orz). I love my new Sheryl wig and I adore the shoes. They're lovely, arent't they? ♥o♥ The costume was also comfortable to wear (a bit too cold for autumn maybe) and I think it looks quite good on me >_>'' ↓1st and 2nd picture taken by Krone. We actually found an empty class room (part of the convention site is a school) to take some pictures in ♥
Epic MMC 2009 résumé:
+ cosplaying with my sister
+ having my ego stroked on Saturday (*≧∀≦)
+ nice weather
+ actually taking some photos of other cosplayers
+ cheap and yummy food
+ huge dealer's room
+
+ meeting
- kind of
- ugly convention site (as usual...)
So this was my last con this year. I'm really looking forward to next year, although I'm not sure if I'll be able
to do all the costumes I want (prolly not). Uni's keeping me busy (〃>_<〃)
